Founded by Geeta John, GJ Studio is a Bangalore-based interior design consultancy with over twenty years in the field of residential and corporate design. Our special strength lies in turning simple cabinetry into subtle artworks, with little details and flourishes that we've come to be known by. We particularly enjoy doing custom kitchens and adding a personal touch to every space. We are supported by craftsmen whose skill has been passed down through generations, and who enjoy the challenge of creating these classic and timeless pieces.

Kitchens
Having worked on over 60 kitchens we have learnt that they are so much more than mere aesthetics; they are the most challenging space in any home. While our kitchens are pleasing to the eye, our layouts are practical and hard working, with everything close at hand. Our team of plumbers, electricians and tile layers are experts at these small spaces. The overall aesthetic meets the home owner’s tastes, with a dash of spice from us
Wardrobes
Most of our wardrobes and woodwork have a little extra detail, whether finished in veneer, laminate, solid wood panelling or paint finish. Grooves, tile inlay, coloured glass, wicker panels, or a combination of woods add interest in colour and texture. The storage details here are tailored to suit the customer, with a balanced mix of hanging, stacking and drawer spaces that always keep the client’s budget in mind. Then, just for fun, we may make handles for you!
Furniture & accessories
For our stand-alone furniture too, we add a fun twist. We use different material- mild steel, wicker, wood, laminate, glass and tiles, and sometimes an unexpected dash of colour to make each piece a joy to own and use. This has become our trademark, with clients now asking us to 'surprise' them. We are more than happy to oblige
